We are the only summer program to support the dreams of young actors by offering a program developed specifically to house and care for teens and young adults whose aim is to work in the Los Angeles film and television industry.
Actors will be housed in one of several beautiful Los Angeles area homes. This career launch program runs 4, 6 or 8 weeks.
This summer stay is meant for young actors who:
- Have parents or guardians who are unable to relocate, even temporarily
- Cannot leave school during the traditional school year
- Are new college grads seeking to make a permanent move
- Want to pursue work in the Los Angeles film industry with the help of several consultants.
we provide a rigorous list of preparation assignments 45 days before our Launch House is open. All participants will need to be complete the work before they arrive. Our staff will fully help each actor complete the following: Headshots, find Los Angeles based representation, build social media, complete/update CV, complete/update audition sites and customize their Launch House agenda.
Requirements: The actor must be between the ages of 13 and 22 and MUST utilize our film acting teachers through virtual lessons OR be taking local film acting classes.
The company takes seriously its task to ensure professional growth while maintaining a safe and gratifying window of opportunity. Therefore, all actors MUST agree to abide by very strict house rules.

What is included
- Assistance in completing career preparation assignments
- Room (up to three per room)
- Residential and on-call staff
- Guardian transport to auditions and off-site classes (up to 30 miles per week)
- Guardian to accompany on set or to auditions
- A weekly private coaching with on-site teaching staff
- Daily consulting / monitoring industry auditions website activity
- Staff check-in with parents weekly
- For those who stay for two months, a weekend trip to either San Diego, San Francisco, or Sequoia National Forest.
What is NOT included
- Roughly $250 per week (food $100, classes $100 and $50 per week to lead house staff for car service/gas)
- $2 per mile over 30 miles, paid directly to driver (calculated at the end of the week)
- Tips to staff during off hours for extra excursions (weekly excursions will be planned and included)
- Entrance fees to most excursions
Payment:
- Your payment is completely refundable until March 1st 2020.
- 10% discount if paid in full (does not apply to prorated stays)
- 5% discount for two payments (does not apply to prorated stays)
