Reservations, Deposits and Payments

To reserve a space at Young Actors Camp, you must first start by completing an application accompanied by the minimum deposit, 10% of the tuition due. Balance is due 60 days before camp. There are payment arrangements that are welcome if this first payment is not feasible. Applicants with a balance of fee's received 45 days or less before camp date will be subject to be placed on a wait list.

 

Billing

Any fees incurred during the campers stay, additional night stay, transportation, special payment arrangements to our counselors (reimbursements or extended care) medical or damage fee's or extended/unpaid camp stay must be paid within 30 days after receipt of invoice.

 

Cancellation/Withdrawal

Individuals may withdraw from the camp at any time, but must do so in writing, postal letter or email. Please call our office to confirm receipt. Telephone, fax, or third party cancellations will not be accepted. Persons canceling will receive a full refund based on the published refund policy. There are NO exceptions to the refund policy below. Therefore, we strongly suggest acquiring tuition insurance.

 

Refund Policy

Refunds are based upon by the date postmarked on the withdrawal letter. Persons canceling will receive a full refund less the cancellation fees listed below. Allow a minimum of 30 days for processing. 20% of lost monies maybe transferred to the following year if an application is submitted for that future camp in a timely manner and as long as space is open (August to January before the next camp session).

[Note: In addition to the stated administration/application fee ($100) kept by Young Actors Camp, airline penalties, insurance premiums, applicable late fee, special/excursion fees are non-refundable]

  • 60 days before 1st day of camp: Refund less $1500 / Travel Camps- No refund
  • 59 days before 1st day of camp: No refund

 

Substitute Person

Persons wishing to substitute another person in their place may do so provided a letter of withdrawal and new application are sent in the same envelope along with an additional $100 application fee. If Young Actors Camp cannot accept a substitute person, the original person must abide by the published refund policy. Young Actors Camp will not deal with any exchange of monies. Original applicant's fees will be transferred to substitute. Letters of request must be postmarked 45 days prior to camp date. For travel camps, the flight portion of tuition may not be changeable.

 

Booking Your Flight

Before you purchase airline tickets, we suggest you confirm placement at camp by either receipt or letter of confirmation. All flights must be purchased using the guidance of The Travel Guide and Flight Form found on the forms page (available January 15th). By veering from these guides, safe and timely camper collection/drop off is jeopardized. Special arrangements for flights outside of our guidelines may be arranged if you email our office for support, request@youngactorscamp.com. Young Actors Camp staff cannot make flight bookings outside of our international travel camps.

 

Rooming Arrangements

All participants must agree to double/triple/quad accommodations. Roommates are chosen at the discretion of Young Actors Camp. Roommates will always be age and gender appropriate. Contact our office if your child has a roommate request.

 

Los Angeles Based Residential Camp Cost Includes...

Double/triple/quad room accommodations. Most meals (read exclusions below). All activities listed on the applicable web page and itineraries. (Itineraries/special guest may be substituted do to restrictions beyond Young Actors Camps' control).

 

Los Angeles Based Residential Camp Cost Does Not Include...

Air transportation. Including: passport fees, visa fees, boarder fees, gifts, laundry, optional excursions, personal expenses, extended overnight lodging, transportation and expenses due to rescheduled or delayed flights, travelers health insurance/medical emergencies, or unscheduled activities. The Los Angeles based camps require three to four meals per week purchased by campers during our field trips or optional free evenings. Meals in between camp dates. College credits awarded without applicable fee's paid.

 

Young Actors Parent Support Conference Program Includes...

One day workshop, light breakfast and lunch.

 

Young Actors Parent Support Conference Program Does Not Include...

Lodging, transportation to or from hotel (unless otherwise noted) and all non-inclusive items listed under residential camp.

 

Touring/Travel Camp Inclusion/Exclusions...

Actors Around the World (AAW)and College Tour Weekends- Includes a quad room unless additional fee's are paid to be in a double room. In some cases, a rollaway bed may be purchased nightly. This cost incurred by the camper. Includes all activities described on website and breakfast. AAW- Included are high school credit and international air travel. AAW airline inclusions may vary for each traveler based on each individual purchase. Both travel and tour camp exclusions; Laundry, optional excursions, personal expenses, tips, extended overnight lodging, transportation and expenses due to rescheduled or delayed flights, travelers health insurance/medical emergencies, or unscheduled activities. Lunch and Dinner.

 

Special Needs

YAC programs are not suggested for those who would have difficulty walking, climbing stairs, or otherwise requiring special assistance.
