Reservations, Deposits and Payments
To reserve a space at Young Actors Camp, you must first start by
completing an application accompanied by the minimum deposit of
$1000. If full payment is made with the application by March 1st
you may deduct a $100 savings. Applications and/or balance of
fee's received 45 days or less before camp date will be subject
to a $25 late fee. Late applicants may be placed on a waitlist
pending space availability. $500 of the stated tuition is a
non-refundable fee.
Billing
Young Actors Camp provides installment billing through the MY
CAMPS/Count Me In payment site only. Young Actors Camp will bill
one time for the balance owed after the initial $1000 check
deposit is received by mail. Final payment is due by date
stated, which is usually 60 days before camp date. $25 late fee
is added on to the balance remaining 45 days before tour/camp
date.
Cancellation/Withdrawal
Individuals may withdraw from the camp at any time, but must do
so in writing. Telephone, fax or third party cancellations will
not be accepted. Persons canceling for medical reasons will
receive a full refund based on the published refund policy.
Written notification, including a physician's letter must be
made within 72 hours of the event that causes cancellation.
Refund Policy
Refunds are based upon date of withdrawal letter as determined
by the date postmarked on the withdrawal letter. Persons
canceling will receive a full refund less the cancellation fees
listed below. After the $1000 deposit, all money will be applied
to the Paris/London portion of camp first and them to the
Hollywood portion. Allow a minimum of 30 days for processing.

administration/application fee ($100) kept by Young Actors
Camp, airline penalties, insurance premiums, applicable late
fee, special/excursion fees are non-refundable]
120 days or more before 1st day of camp: Refund less $500
119-90 days before 1st day of camp: Refund less $1000
89-60 days before 1st day of camp: Refund less $1500
59 days before 1st day of camp: No refund
Substitute Person
Persons wishing to substitute another person in their place may
do so provided a letter of withdrawal and new application are
sent in the same envelope along with an additional $100
application fee. If Young Actors Camp cannot accept a substitute
person, the original person must abide by the published refund
policy. Young Actors Camp will not deal with any exchange of
monies. Original applicant's fees will be transferred to
substitute. Letters of request must be postmarked 45 days prior
to camp date.
Booking Your Flight
Before you buy your airline ticket we suggest you confirm your
placement at camp by either receipt or letter of confirmation.
All flights must arrive into and out of Los Angeles
International Airport (LAX) between the hours of 10am and 3:00pm
the first day of the camp. Departure flights must be between the
hours of 7:00am and 1:00pm on the last day of the camp. Special
arrangements for transportation can be made if the above is not
possible. You should inform Young Actors Camp office before the
purchase of the ticket.
Young Actors Camp staff cannot make travel arrangements.
Rooming Arrangements
All participants must agree to double/triple/quad
accommodations. Roommates are chosen at the discretion of Young
Actors Camp. Roommates will always be age and gender
appropriate. Contact our office if special arrangements are
needed.
Overnight Camp Cost Includes...
Double/triple/quad room accommodations. Two meals per
day. Entry into all amusement parks/places stated on
itineraries. (Itineraries may be changed due to restrictions
beyond Young Actors Camps' control such as, holidays, strikes,
traffic conditions or inclement weather). Workshops/classes and
Private counseling. Tips (not drivers tip), gratuities and port
taxes. Baggage limited to one standard suitcase and once
carry-on bag.
Parent Day Camp Includes...
Workshops/classes, field trips and some meals (1
dinner, 2 lunches & snacks.)
Parent Day Camp does not Include...
Lodging, transportation to or from hotel and all
non-inclusive items listed under Hollywood Camp.
Hollywood Camp Cost Do Not Include...
Air transportation. Including: foreign airport arrival/departure
taxes, domestic airport taxes or custom hall charges, fuel
charges, special airport security fees, U.S. passport fees, visa
fees, boarder fees, gifts, laundry, valet services, tip for the
bus driver (we suggest $2 per day), optional excursions,
personal expenses, overnight loading and transportation expenses
in the U.S. due to rescheduled or delayed flights, expenses due
to the rescheduled or delayed flights, travelers health
insurance/medical emergencies, or unscheduled activities.
Special Needs
Young Actors Camp does not suggest this program for
those who would have difficulty walking, climbing stairs, or
otherwise requiring special assistance.
If special meals are required, a written request is required (or
in 'comment' section on the application).
