Rounded Rectangle: Camp Requirements ■ No acting experience required but camper must have a significant desire to learn about acting. ■ Must be a good reader. ■ Advanced on-camera classes require a letter from current acting teacher/agent (click here for recommendation form) ■ Be between the ages of 7 – 17 during camp

Learn about the Hollywood film and television industry in the most unique opportunity presented in a summer camp situation, by making a REAL film on location throughout the cities of Los Angeles and Hollywood.
Campers will have the opportunity to work as a REAL film actor in a REAL production setting. A Talent Agent and Casting Director look at experience when taking on new talent. A completed Hollywood film on an actors resume says a few things about the actor 1. The actor knows set etiquette, 2. The actor has experience working in front of a camera, 3. An industry professional took a chance on the new actor, casting could possibly take a second look. Off set we are back to summer camp fun through carefully selected field trips, celebrity visits and extraordinary training we learn how to make a Hollywood acting career happen or discover alternative careers in the field of entertainment.

We begin our stay at Azusa Pacific University for the Edge on Casting weekend, then move to a location near our film site. This will either be a 3 to 4 star hotel OR a cabin based on the setting of the movie. We will arrive back to the University for the last night before departure. 4 nights away from College will be announced by 3/1.

An Edge on Casting Seminar A three day seminar within our Casting Call Camp to understand the film industry casting process.

On-Camera acting intensives by the best teachers in Hollywood, another resume building benefit.

Film is shown at film festivals worldwide through out the year to expose all of our young actors.

Complete a real movie to put on your resume AND have name entered on IMDB (Internet Movie Data Base)

On-set etiquette and all around education of the filming process including career investigations of some of the professionals who will work with the campers

Special workshop: how to use today's technology and sources to pursue the Hollywood industry from your town.

Meet famous actors who will give advice on working on a film set/succeeding in the industry.

Evenings of traditional summer camp fun games, parties and competitions.

Experience Hollywood industry centered field trips and some just for fun.
